Decorate your home, send us a picture and we'll pick a winner ......

This Friday marks 75 years since VE Day as the United Kingdom remembers the end of war in Europe... Let's celebrate!!

We're running a competition for best decorated house!

Host your own 'stay at home' party, decorate your house in red, white and blue and have a tea party in your front garden, encourage your neighbours to do the same- make it a 'stay at home street party'. This is a day that should be celebrated!

Ask your children to draw and colour pictures for your windows and you can also download and print for free some decorations here,

We will pick a winner next week, 1st prize will receive £30, 2nd prize £20 and 3rd prize £10.

Also check with your local cafe's and restaurants as some are offering VE Day packages including afternoon teas. We've seen Java Square in Rhuddlan are doing afternoon tea boxes including prosecco especially for the occasion! Check out their facebook page:

We are currently living through very strange and worrying times, but this is certainly a day to celebrate!

Post your picture in the comments section on this post on facebook or email louise.young@llestates.co.uk

We hope you are all staying safe and well and enjoy celebrating this day with your lockdown buddies.
