COVID-19 Announcement

With the recent spread of COVID-19 and the new measurements put in place by the government, we wanted to inform you what we are doing to help our community and stay safe during this stressful time.

Both of our offices are still very much open for business, however we have closed the doors to the public. We are offering Facetime appointments and are available via email and phone. Appointments are only taking place after a screening process has been carried out.

As we arrange Inspections and appointments to private homes we will adopt the following COVID-19 Protocol;

• Upon booking an appointment, the following questions will be asked to clarify risk;
o Are you experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms of Coughing, Fever or shortness of breath?
o Have you been in close contact with anyone either diagnosed with COVID-19 or who has returned from travel abroad in the last 14 days?
o Have you been advised to self-isolate by NHS 111 or your doctor?
• If the answer is yes to either, a decision will be taken to postpone appointments and rearrange for a later date to ensure the protection of everyone involved

At Appointments
• Upon arrival at an appointment, the following questions will be asked to clarify risk;
o Are you experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms of Coughing, Fever or shortness of breath?
o Have you been in close contact with anyone either diagnosed with COVID-19 or who has returned from travel abroad in the last 14 days?
o Have you been advised to self-isolate by NHS 111 or your doctor?
• If the answer is yes to either, a decision will be taken to postpone appointments and rearrange for a later date to ensure the protection of our customers and staff
• Physical contact will be avoided where possible including handshaking and distance of 1m will be observed to reassure customers that no risk is being taken
• Our staff who attend a Tenant’s home for any purpose (viewings, inspection, market appraisal etc.) will carry hand sanitisation to ensure clean hands.

You can still view a property:
We are offering virtual viewings. This is where one of our staff members attends the property in question and will do a Facetime/Whatsapp video call with the viewers and show them around, answer any questions they may have about the property and give them a real insight to the property- as if they were there themselves!

This may help if you are:
·     Self isolating
·     Have underlying health conditions
·     Are pregnant
·     Are over 70
·     Have someone vulnerable in the home
·     Just want to be careful

Not only will this new plan protect viewers, but also sellers and landlords from having multiple people in their property.

For our community:
In light of the new self-isolation guidelines, we also wanted to help our community where we can to get through this difficult time. We are currently doing a drop of these leaflets across all our areas:

We here at LL Estates are trying to remain positive and we saw this quote this morning which we LOVED:

' When this ends- AND IT WILL- every football match will sell out, every restaurant will have a two hour wait, every child will be GLAD to be in school, everyone will LOVE their job, the £ will sky rocket, pubs will be rammed, gigs will be plentiful and we'll kiss, embrace and shake hands. That's going to be a good day!
Hang in there world!'

Stay safe and positive and please do let us know if we can help in any way!

Selling a property and going through a separation make the top three on the list of the most stressful experiences a person can go through, and sadly, these two things often go hand in hand. If this is you, read this article for guidance on handling this process.

Buyers remorse. A feeling of regret or anxiety after making a purchase. Often felt after spending money on something that you later feel wasn't worth it. Clothing bought in a sale because it was perceived to be a bargain when, in reality, you probably didn't really need or indeed want to buy it. You might not have even given it a second thought if it had not been discounted.

When selling your home, you obviously want to highlight the best features, but what are buyers looking for? Knowing this could make all the difference in how quickly you can sell your house and how much you will be offered. Read on to find out more.

Are you planning a new kitchen? Refreshing your old kitchen can change how you feel about your home and even add value to your property. Read this article before you embark on redesigning your kitchen.
