What the latest lockdown means for home movers in North Wales

Good news for home movers

From 12pm on Saturday evening Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford announced an alert level 4 lockdown for the whole of Wales.

The good news is you can still move home, viewings and valuations can still take place. Further details below brought to you from the official welsh government website.

Can I move home?

Yes, if you cannot delay the moving date until after the alert level 4 restrictions are lifted.

Can viewings take place?

We strongly advise that virtual viewings are used whenever possible, but viewings of properties can take place during alert level 4. However, household mixing must be avoided during viewing.

Can a valuation or mortgage survey be done at my property?

Yes, if it is managed in a safe way and both worker and household members are well and have no symptoms of coronavirus.

We will:

1) Be continuing to carry out viewings and valuations around our Christmas opening hours

2) Continue to provide a safe service to our customers by adhering to Covid rules

3) Be there for you if you have any questions or concerns.
